Sparta War of Empires Review

Sparta: War of Empires, or SWoE, is a 2D browser-based strategy game set in ancient Greece. Players are tasked with governing a small-city state and growing it into a mighty empire with a little help from King Leonidas himself.

With Sparta: War of Empires, Plarium brings you to ancient Greece, where the proud Spartans are facing the ever-growing Persian threat lead by the cruel tyrant Xerxes. As usual in these kinds of games, you will be put in charge of your own fledgling city-state and it will be up to you to make it flourish or be responsible for its downfall. Under the guidance of King Leonidas himself, which will help you during the early phases of the game, you will learn the ropes and prepare to make a stand against the Persian Empire, finding valuable allies or new enemies along the way.

Sparta: War of Empires Key Features:

  • Great AV – high-quality audio and visual effects with fully-voiced tutorials.
  • Traditional Gameplay with PvP Focus– traditional browser-based strategy gameplay with an emphasis on PvP.
  • Immerse Yourself in History– set in Ancient Greece with familiar historical characters like King Leonidas.
  • Farm Premium Currency– premium currency can be acquired via quests.

The game will be a test to your management skills where you need to manage the three main resources: bronze, grain and timber. This increases productivity to construct farms and forges to support the city. Every building you create can be upgraded like everything else.

The key to success (as with most MMO games) lies in alliances and collaboration, as you harvest collective resources, build your city in unison with other players and train an engaged army of like-minded gamers. This underlines the need to choose your allegiances wisely, as only the most trusted battlefield collaborators can be trusted against the might of Xerxes and his cohorts.

Kinguin Review

Kinguin allows you to search for any games that are currently available, but instead of just linking you directly to the Steam store it will search across a ton of CD key sites and find the cheapest key for you.

For example if you wanted to buy Bioshock Infinite the game is retailing for $29.99 currently on the Steam store.  Using Kinguin you can grab a key at its cheapest for $12.14. When you get that key you activate it on Steam and are set.  With that kind of saving’s you can really extend your game purchases.

Let’s take a look at what the customers have to say about Kinguin:

From Virgile,

Very fast shipping of my cd key. She works very good !

From Jan Novak,

GameServers Review has established itself as the premier game hosting company through the past six years, having served over 100,000 customers. With features such as instant setup, state of the art control panel and no codec restrictions it is no surprise that is one of the leading Minecraft providers today.

Established in the year 2000 our 100% Tier 1 Network features providers such as Savvis, Internap, and Level 3. By specializing on the gamer market and eliminating lower tier providers such as Cogent typically used by hosting companies, ensures you always experience low latency performance for your Teamspeak, Ventrilo, or game server.

The Price
Gameservers are not the cheapest around. However, after using much other server hosting companies, I can say that Gameservers stood out the most. It’s worth paying a little more to get a stable and high quality server. Oh, and let’s not forget the support. They respond to your tickets in a matter of hours, which is great.

Server Quality
When buying a game server, web host or anything like that I always go and do some ‘stress tests’. Gameservers could take almost anything I threw at it. It could handle full slots for more than 24 hours and still be stable and lag free. I also flooded the IP address with shells and it was able to withstand that – but only with some lag. If I increased the power to more shells it would most likely fall apart. However, it done well to withstand the power of that flood. Other hosts wouldn’t off. This shows that gameservers have very fast and secure internet connection. It’s rare anyone will flood your server though so there is no need to worry.

Customer Support
When using their customer support I felt like I was one of them, not just a customer. The staff there is friendly and quick. They are also straight to the point and don’t mess around. If you got a problem they will fix it.

Overall I enjoyed the experience with Gameservers. I recommend them to everyone who is interested in a Gameserver. With quick setup and high quality servers, with free 24/7 support, you can’t go wrong.

The Website

Big Fish Games used to distribute online web browser games that were free to play and advertising supported. There were over 80 games to play. The games all included chat and players earned tokens that could be used to enter lotteries to win cash prizes and free games.

There are so many Big Fish games these days that it can get a little confusing and overwhelming for someone who is just starting to explore these at times terrific games. Most Big Fish games cost between $2 and $7 for the full version.

Some of the top games:

1. Drawn: The Painted Tower HD for iPad: This was my first Big Fish game. And, I was lucky. Because it is really the best that they have available. It is an amazing story and a fabulous game that is so well done it will encompass you totally in its magic.

2. Flux Family Secrets – The Ripple Effect for iPhone and for iPad: In Flux Family Secrets, you play a character who is contacted by a very rich family. You arrive at their mansion to find out what secrets from your past they hold only to find out that you must travel through time and space to fix errors in time. Explore famous historical sites like the Wright Brothers’ workshop, the Beatle’s studio, and Benjamin Franklin’s study. Find misplaced objects scattered throughout all of the scenes that help you to solve clever puzzles.

3. Mystery Trackers: The Void for iPad The Void is another game that will have you crossing space and time to solve a crime and figure out the mystery. It’s utterly enormous in scope and so well done.

4. Brunhilda and the Dark Crystal for iPhoneand for iPad: While Brunhilda may seem just like a game for children upon first glance, I assure you that it is challenging enough for most grown-ups. A clever game with beautifully hand-drawn graphics, Brunhilda will take you out of the everyday world and plop you down in a world filled with magic.

5. Snark Busters for iPhone and for iPad: This brings us to today. I decided that despite the mice in the last game I played, I would try again. So, today I started to play Snark Busters. And, it’s a real treat. So far, no mice (it’s really a phobia of mine). Snark Busters is very light-hearted and fun.

I love most games on big fish especially adventure like tribal games more of these please. Love the way you can try for an hour to test a game before you buy. I would recommend this site to my friends which i have already done .

I really like Big Fish. The company makes its terms of service and return/refund policies very clear, and if you do make a mistake — as I have done — their customer service department gets back to you immediately and solves the problem. Customer Service is amazing at Big Fish!

The games are very good — the Grim Tales for Mac OS, though, have been pretty hit or miss: sometimes the hints work, sometimes not.

My advice? Try the games for an hour, of course, and know the terms of service before you buy.

Good selection of games, GREAT prices, no malware or ads. I have purchased over 10 games from them and have never had a problem. I have changed computers a couple times and was able to easily re-download my games. I like that they let you “try before you buy”
You have to join their club to get discounted price on games, but you can cancel it as soon as you download your game…then just start it again when you want another game. Or stay with the membership and get special deals from them.
